Khush Amaria, PhD., CPsych

Clinical Psychologist and Senior Clinical Director at MindBeacon

Dr. Khush Amaria is Senior Clinical Director at MindBeacon. Prior to MindBeacon, she was a Clinical and Health Psychologist at the Hospital for Sick Children.

Dr. Amaria provides treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of difficulties and supports community outreach on related topics. She is also involved in supporting employers, HR leaders and their employees for managing mental health in work settings.

Dr. Amaria is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT-ACTCC) and the Ontario Psychological Association. She is credentialed as a CACBT-ACTCC Certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

 

Melissa Alvares

 

Melissa Alvares – VP, Marketing at MindBeacon

Melissa is the VP Marketing at MindBeacon. Prior to MindBeacon, Melissa built marketing teams at Ian Martin Group, Sparkrock and Swift Medical.

Melissa has dedicated her career to working for purpose-driven companies. She has helped shape the culture, corporate give back and sustainability strategies of both start-ups and large enterprises. This includes her time as a board member of Softchoice Cares and creating Sparkrock’s first Culture Code.

Melissa has a joint degree from the University of Waterloo in Science and Business. She has also been named CDN's Top 25 Tech Newsmakers and CDN's Top 25 Women in IT.
